As the global health and development community enters the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) era, partnering for health and development is more important than ever. We know that when the needs of women and girls are at the heart of development efforts, change happens. Educating, empowering and most importantly, elevating women and girls is how we’ll make the world a better place.
That’s why the communications agency Fenton is joining forces with Girls’ Globe! Fenton uses the power of stories, media and technology to make a difference. Recognizing the incredible strengths of both Fenton’s history in social change and Girls’ Globe’s empowerment of girls and women as voices for change, we are coming together on behalf of women and girls worldwide. The Fenton sponsored section will showcase the issues that Fenton’s team members and clients are most passionate about and how their work contributes to creating a world where every woman and girl has access to healthcare, education, employment and more to ensure she has the tools to live her life on her own accord. Most notably, Girls’ Globe will be offering a space for Fenton to do what they do best: tell stories. Stories about how far women have come. Stories about the obstacles still hindering true progress. Stories about how every issue we care about have a unique effect on women and girls. Stories about our hopes for the future.
We know the road to gender equality is long but we’ve never been ones to back down from a challenge. Our message is clear: women and girls are the key to global change.
